WHO ARE YOU?

If I could ask your five closet friends who are you?
I wonder what they would say.. Would I get positive feedback?
Think about this..
-Tell me your 5 closets friends and that will tell me who you are. The kind of person you are, Because y'all influence each other.

Q: I'm not good enough..
If only I was as strong as him..
Or if only I could shoot like he does..
Or if only I was as athletic as she is..
The wish will never end!

-many of us also wear mask..
Looks like we all have it together...
It's a false masks.
We use it to fool people, impress people, protect the feelings of the people we love.,
We wear masks time to time but most we wear it in church...
Behind every perfect mask there's a messed up life.
You can't fool God. Best impress you can make to God is just be you!

-Many teens spend their lives feeling as of they are not good enough and will never measure up.
God makes NO mistakes! Did u hear me. NO mistakes!!!
-so now I wanna ask you- are you who you wanna be??
God made us so special and each different. We are unique and we are his masterpiece!
We cannot and should not compare ourselves to what others are or have.
-the plan!

1) transformed the way we think about  ourselves (Romans 12:2)
2) decide who we will surround ourselves with (Hebrews 12:1)
3) and what voices we will choose to listen (Jeremiah 7:23-24)

Challenge students-------—

1) read God's word, read scripture. And see what God has to say about you.
2) make good choices to surround yourself with people who would encourage you and build you up.
3) be positive be you be unique be happy bc God is not one with you yet!!
Our world tells us to be like everybody else. False false false!!!
Don't listen to the media to the celebrities.
Not way God  intended it to be. Be yourself!

One Small Step

STUDENTS: 2011- New school year, new friends, new outlook

Q: Do you have any: Big changes?
Ambitious goals?
Lose 20 pounds?
Or read through the bible?
Maybe you want to run a marathon?
Or repair a broken relationship?

Passage: Philippians 1:27-30
à Challenge students: Believers only. 1. Share your faith (stand firm) 2. Lead in a Godly example 3. Lead (plant a seed) a friend, mom, dad, sister, bro, and an enemy, anyone to Christ. 4. Support, encourage, and build each other up.
*Context: Philippians 1:29 “For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him.”
We us believers are going to do whatever it takes. Be bold, stand firm in the name of Jesus. We are like stars that shine in this world. We are different, we are unique, and we are set- apart.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us.” v10-11 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
Q: Have you ever spent any time thinking about huge majority (that's growing daily) that don't believe in God or Jesus?
Matthew 13:23 “The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God's word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!"
You plant the seed, and God will do the rest. You yes you might not even know it but you can make a difference. And your life is a huge impact on someone else’s. Take heart and I pray that you have a burdened in your heart for your friends that don’t know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. I pray that you toss and turn and can’t sleep at night because of your family or friends that don’t know Christ. I pray that God MOVES you to share what He has in your heart so that you can tell them. I know it’s not easy but when we let Christ talk its easy. Let Him take over.
*(Remember students little steps, one step at a time)
1 John 4:16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.”
Q: Are you wasting your time?
If one person "wastes" away his day by spending hours connecting with God, and the other person believes he is too busy or has better things to do than worship the Creator & Sustainer, who is the crazy one? -Francis Chan
If you want to grow in God you must make time for God.
1.    GOD must and shall be our priority
2.    Prayer Life and Reading the Word

Whatever your “big goal” is temptation is expected to go from here to here or from here to here
The reality is there are a lot of small steps between big decisions and big results.
Challenges and obstacles await and sometimes at one point you might just want to quit. BUT stand firm!
Don’t be disappointed with slow progress. Don’t be overwhelmed by the destination.
RATHER, focus on what you can do today!!!
Skip dessert, read a chapter, go for a run, make a phone call.
The more difficult the journey the more rewarding the destination.
And it can ALL start today just by one small step….
à Challenge students: Believers only. 1. Share your faith (stand firm) 2. Lead in a Godly example 3. Lead (plant a seed) a friend, mom, dad, sister, bro, and an enemy, anyone to Christ. 4. Support, encourage, and build each other up.
Philippians 1:29 “For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him.”

Come Awake!

We all carry various burdens and struggles that sometimes prevent us from living the life God intended. Christ's sacrifice reminds us that he defeated every last thing that might get in the way of His people. The charge to us all is to come awake and be one with Christ again.

·         Where are you today?
·         Are you ashamed of your past?
·         Are you scared of what God wants from you?
·         Are you drowning in your poor choices?
·         Are you alone in your journey? Etc…..
Come awake come awake... wake up people!
I’m not sure where you are today? But I know where he was that day! But I know what he was doing for you that day! He was standing in your place…
Christ is risen from the dead… Our God is not dead… He’s ALIVE.!
"Let no one caught in sin remain Inside the lie of inward shame But fix our eyes upon the cross And run to Him who showed great love
And bled for us Freely You’ve bled for us
Christ is risen from the dead Trampling over death by death Come awake, come awake Come and rise up from the grave Christ is risen from the dead
We are one with Him again Come awake, come awake Come and rise up from the grave
Beneath the weight of all our sin You bowed to none but heaven’s will No scheme of hell, no scoffer's crown No burden great can hold You down In strength You reign Forever let Your church proclaim
O death, where is your sting? O hell, where is your victory? O church, come stand in the light The glory of God has defeated the night
Our God is not dead He's alive! He's alive!"

Behind the Song:
God really is a genius (duh!). He used death to destroy death. He did not even have to lift a finger. He literally tricked death into destroying itself. Jesus used the process of death to completely destroy it. So now it just becomes a process of transformation, now it is a window or a doorway. Every Easter in the Ukraine, congregations chant the phrase, “Christ has risen from the dead trampling over death by death, and redeeming us from the grave”. I thought, “that is an amazing thought to sing. We should sing it in the west.”' - Matt Maher
I’m not sure where you are today? But I know where you could be…
You could be a new creation! You could be one with him again!  You could come awake with Christ today! Is today your day?
Closing: (I want to do something different today guys, everybody bow your heads and close your eyes, im going to ask you a question: anyone here that wants to come awake and be one with Christ again or for the first time? Raise your head… no body look up, close your eyes… continue to pray on your own guys… anybody just raise your hand up, anybody that surrenders there life bc your done and tired of running fighting hiding from the life your living that’s not Gods way… your always more than welcome to come talk to me or ken about your decision. Love you guys, lets pray……)
Philippians 3: 7-10 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in[a] Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.

“Love” (Are YOU looking for true love?)

What is love?

Everybody seems to believe that love is a good thing. However, not all agree what is love. Is love that warm touchy-feely feeling a person has when he is with a familiar person? According to the Bible, love is caring in action. Love isn't what we feel, but what we do.
Love is….
Never fall in love with the concept of love. Instead fall in love with the Creator of it. Only through Him will you find your perfect other. Bc: Love is the greatest gift God ever gave man.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Take this passage phrase by phrase to see how God wants us to love.
Love is patient
The dictionary meaning for patient is; “bearing annoyance, pain, etc. without complaint or anger.”
So love will stand up through hard times for as long as it takes.
And kind
Synonyms for this would be; gentle, tender, and compassionate. It implies a willingness to do well or to give pleasure.
Love is not jealous,
The word jealous implies being resentful or envious of other’s attainments.
Or boastful,
This is the habit of speaking with excessive pride or vanity. (Bragging)  Facebook last night: Want something to brag on... BRAG about my God, the One that gave you those talents and abilities. 1 Corinthians 5:6 Your bragging is NOT good.
Or proud,
Being proud is believing in one’s power in some respect.
Being boastful or proud involves having your attention focused inward and not on others. (conceited)
or rude
This is being discourteous (impolite) and is the opposite of being kind.
Love does not demand its own way.
Loving someone involves compromise. (give and take)
Love is not easily anger,
Being irritable is being easily moved to impatience or anger.
and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged.
Each and every offense is forgiven and forgotten. (Forgive and forget)
It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
Romans 12:15
When others are happy, be happy with them. If they are sad, share their sorrow.
Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
Love is strong through the good times and the bad.

Can we reflect this kind of love in our own lives? It is a tall order, yet we are told to love everyone, not just our husband, wife, family or even close friends. Proverbs 17:17 A friend LOVES at ALL times. (dads favorite verse)

John 15:12. I command you to love each other in the same way that I love you.

As you can see, this is a difficult commandment. On our own we are not able to love in the way God describes. Will you ask Him, today, to give you the strength to love as He commands it?

To describe the attitude of God toward His Son

(a)    I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them." john 17:26.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
It was love, not nails, that kept jesus on the cross.
"For God so loved (agape) the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
The gift3 of God's son as a provision for sin4 was given to all humans,5 regardless of who we are.6 God's love is unconditional.7
In contrast, our love is usually conditional and based upon how other people behave toward us.

(b)   But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

(c)    Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” john 14:21

(d)   This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10

(e)   For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (Compel- beg or cry out). I am so unworthy, yet still you love me. Your love never changes. You are the creator of love and I am nothing but human. I need you God.

We love because HE first Loved us. On Google I typed the word ‘’Love” and got this. Love is the emotion of strong affection and personal attachment. Love is action. It’s a verb it’s what we do. The definition of love is: Jesus Christ. God is love, love is God. God is true love. Love is God’s greatest commandments in bible. Matthew 22:36-40 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”  37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
So I encourage you my friends to do as what the lord says, keep his commandments. To LOVE. In order to love others you first have to love yourself. Who doesn’t want to be love? Doesn’t everyone want too, because I know everyone in this room does. You can love someone in so many ways by first of all telling someone about the good news: Jesus Christ bring the word to them. Second telling them how much you and God loves them. Encouraging then being there for them making them smile and laugh, there’s tons of ways. My God pours He’s love towards and to me each and every day. How? Why? How, because each day I realized how bless I am to have LIFE. Bc he is life he is the creator of life. The reason why I breathe and I woke up this morning. How blessed I am to have freedom to read his word at school at home in the U.S. Also I’m blessed to have Christian family and friends that help each other in situations, encourage each other, and correct each other. Why does God pour out his raining love to me each and every day? Bc first of all I am not just a Christian I am a believe I am his most precious daughter of the king of kings and lord of lords. No one can stop us! I am proud of it and not ashamed of it as it says in Romans 1:16 favorite verse. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” The LOVE JESUS has for you is the same yesterday, today, and forever. No matter how overwhelmed you may feel by your circumstances know that you can cry out to the Father and He will give you peace that surpasses anything you can understand!

If you are not a Christian, I hope you desire to express love as defined in the Bible. However, wanting to do so and attempting to do so in the power of your own will is guaranteed to fail. This kind of love is only possible through relying on the power of God, through faith in Jesus Christ. Even if you are a Christian, you will not succeed if you do not abide in Christ. May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.11

John 15:12. I command you to love each other in the same way that I love you.

As you can see, this is a difficult commandment. On our own we are not able to love in the way God describes. Will you ask Him, today, to give you the strength to love as He commands it?

Can you say that's MY KING? Do you know Him?

It’s YOUR turn

So what’s up, how’ve you been? How have you really been? What’s going on? What’s new? How’s life? We all hear those questions from people and we hear them a lot…

Now I want to ask you some personal deep questions… Please answer honestly not for or to me but to God. He knows your heart already but talk to Him right now, this might be the last time ever you talk to Him... Think about these questions…
So what’s up with you and God? How have you really been with Him? What’s going on between yall? What’s new with yall? How’s your walk with God? The things you done in everyday life glorifying God or are you just pleasing yourself? Is it all about YOU or GOD? When was the last time you thanked God?

Before we get into our main topic for this morning, I wasn’t to ask you this one last question. Where are you right now in your relationship with Christ? Im not talking about going to church every Sunday or even maybe every Wednesday or everyday! Im not talking about rather memorizing all the verses in bible… Its not about a religion its about a real relationship with jesus Christ. B/c im not religious even though most of all think I am but im just in love with jesus my lord my savior hes my life and he can be yours. Just let go and let God!!! 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. So is it time today do u wanna encounter Gods love? Do you want we us believers children of God have? It’s a free gift from God. Take it its meant to be yours. Don’t trash it abaonded it or crush it, treasure it, admire it, and show this free gift to the world. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:8-10  Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

Its time!

Many people believe that they don’t have what it takes to make a difference to the world. They believe only people like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, and the likes, are capable of making a difference.
The truth is, every one of us is put in this world to contribute and make a difference to the world in our own unique way… God has a plan for each and every single soul living in the room in this building in the community in Texas in the usa in this world!!! Believers (children of God) this goes for you non Christians listen closely because my prayer is one day you can one day be in love with Jesus and have that intense relationship with Him…
Story…. About workout trainer- My trainer asked me randomly, what church do you go to? I told him then I asked him how did you even know I go to church? He said God's people are different I can see something differ about you, bc of God's spirit is in you! Wow that blew me away! That's why its so important for us believers to shine His light wherever we go!

What are you doing in your school, or job or at home? Are you making a difference, maybe a little difference? If not…. Common believers WAKE UP. This world is crying for help they are so desperate and they don’t know what to believe or what their purpose in life is. They are helpless.

Lots of people want to make a difference in the world. But how does someone make a difference? Does it have to be a big one? Big differences change the world; little ones fuel the big ones. What would happen if the fuel ran out? Here are the top ten ways to keep the fuel going:
one person can make a difference… have you made yours today?
It only takes one act of kindness to make a difference in a person's life. You change the world with one act of random kindness at a time.
The world is watching… Get up and stand.. the greatest challenge in human history is presented to you..but you are not alone…it will require everything, you have to give…but 1.4 billion unreached are worth it..go ahead change the course of history and join others just like you..

My Testimony

“Not only those things, but I think that all things are worth nothing compared with the greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of Him, I have lost all those things, and now I know they are worthless trash. This allows me to have Christ and to belong to him. Now I am right with God not because I follow the law, because I believe in Christ. God uses my faith to make me right with him. Philippians 3:8-10
Going into my freshmen year I was super excited, because I knew a lot of people and ready to start my High School years. My freshmen year I got tons of attention which I enjoyed. I had a good reputation because my sister was a good Christian role model and people were expecting me to be just like her! My first wrong turn: hanging with the wrong crowd (chose the wrong people). Which lead me to make wrong decisions and choices in life which led to consequences.  Such as cursing, judging people, being fake, lying, talking talking to guys… a lot of guys, party invites by friends trying anyway to get there. I was popular I guess you can say, I only had my clique. I was a stuck up girl. We can fool man but we can’t fool God. We can play games with man but not with God. He knew what he has in store for my life. My best friend saw all this and followed me… I caught that and realized I wasn’t being a Christian. So I got “right with God” well it wasn’t for real though. I was going through the motions, pretty much faking my Christian life. The best of both worlds. I lived both worlds….On the outside I look like a Christian, went to church, heard some Christian music here and there, talked like a Christian, had some Christian t-shirts, etc… But you know ALL that stuff I listed didn’t make me a Christian. So next I had my bff follow me, wanting to be like me, “A Christian.” I influenced her a lot; her family told me that she changed. But she was pretty much going through what I’m going through. It was the physical change not the spiritual change.
Spamarama 2009 came oh yay great.. Still same bre. Sophomore year came, realized people going through tough tough times including me. So I wanted to help others with good advice but also Gods word. Wasn’t sure how great I could do that. I learned a lot from dad and other people but still wasn’t Gods words. I started a bible study group at my High School, it was small but its growing slowly. I was getting criticized because they thought I was faking my Christian life. Half way through sophomore year: BOOM, it hit me. I realized what I am doing! I needed to start living with God. With God is not the right term… But that’s what I did. Meaning I still haven’t really devoted my life to Him completely. Didn’t read his word nor talk to him couple times day, wasn’t a devoted Christian. Then in the summer went to Go Tell youth camp at SFA campus with our youth group from church. That’s where it hit me the most. I had the opportunity to witness to my new bff. It’s a long story… but ever since then I wanted to be Christian role model so I knew what’s first is to be devoted to God. For real this time, I cried out to God that week to make him the Lord of My Life. I basically re-dedicated my life. Holy Spirit gave me peace, love, and joy in my heart to restore it and awaken my heart and me. What an amazing wakeup call that was defiantly most needed. 2 weeks later Spamarama 2010 came. I’m still on fire for Him. Junior year came still on fire for Him. Today May 27, 2011 still on fire for Him. God changed my life to be totally committed to him, since I encounter Gods love because once you encounter Gods love you never want to go back! I need him to take over and control of my life and be the center of my life, because he sure did give it to me. I’m not letting it go to waste at all! Not one bit…. So now I’m not living with God, I’m living FOR GOD.

What’s your identity?

So this is the message I spoke at Fort Worth, T.X. for the Momentum event for Spamarama.

Q: “If this was your very last time to ever speak to teenagers, what would you tell them?” – Dad
·         Wow, deep, so I prayed about it and prayed. My dad got me this carved out Letter B, and within it, it had writing which said “Be still and know that I am God” Psalms 46:10
That helped a lot. I let God open my heart my eyes to what he wants me to tell you guys.

What’s your identity?

Ask yourself this: What really is my identity?  Who are you?

Only two identities you can have
1.       Christ- like identity
2.      Yourself- meaning worldly identity ( I’ll get into detail in what that means)
(1)
Let’s start with the first one: Christ-like identity.
Christ Identity shows: Love, humbleness, compassion, forgiveness, and obedience. Etc…
-You don’t just need it but you WANT it.
Please turn your bibles to 1 John 4: 9-10;11-12. God loved is so much, he sent his son Jesus, his one and only to the world to die for me and you so that we can have life through him…( he said so we can have life, so we can literally live spiritually! Not only just physically but have life through him.)
Check it out in 1 John 4:11-12. Love God, Love people.
The real test is if we really love God is how we treat the people right in front of us.-Our family members, our fellow believers. We cannot truly love God while neglecting to love those who are created in His image.
Now let’s compare to what it says in verse 20-21.
Verse 11-12 Talks about how we cannot see God, but if we love each other, God lives in us. His love is expressed and shows through us.
Verse 20-21 Talks about how we see our brothers and sister, and if we declare we love God, but hates our bro’s and sisters, that person is straight up lying to your-self, lying to other people, and most important God. “If we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we have not seen?”
In Romans it is our main chapter now we’ll be at. In chapter 8 verse 5-6
Those who are under the enemy control which our enemy is the world, sinful nature thinks about sinful things. It controls your mind, equals death. BUT those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the spirit. HS controls your mind it equals life and peace. (Remember those who don’t have the spirit of Christ living in them; they are not Christians at all.)
-The closer we walk with God the more like God we become!!!

Q: How in the world can we become more like Jesus?
1.      He was different à “However if you want to be true to who you are and what you believe, sometimes you have to lift up your head and speak out!” – Soul Sister

“Romans 1:16” that’s our mission goal while we are here in this world and not to be of the world.
Believers it’s said the Christian life is more hard, but it’s worth living every second of it. We have hope and a future to look forward to (the hope and future I’m talking about is eternity forever with Jesus and God for they are one.)

A.    Jesus wasn’t afraid to do this even when it made him unpopular. He wasn’t afraid to risk losing friends b/c of who he really was. Jesus kept is simple: “Follow the hard truth or walk away. Love me or hate me, this is who I am, I am God.”
B.     Sometimes we feel pressure to fit in and not say nothing, but if we are fully committed our lives to God, surely he is worth speaking up for. Being different isn’t bad it’s BOLD.

2.      He stood up for what He believed in.

A.    Jesus challenges us to stick up for the bullied, broken boys and girls at our school we see every day. Don’t ask what you can gain ask what you can give.

3.      Jesus was famous/popular why?!
A.    He was a servant. You would think if this is the man I will worship and praise and devote my life to him, shouldn’t he had came down with a crown and all the fame and glory people going insane throwing big celebration for him…. NO. In Matthew 20:28 He said, “I did not come to be served, but to serve.” So ask yourself how can I bless someone today, tomorrow, rest of our lives? How can I be a servant of God?
B.     He was an encourager. Jesusàbuilt his friends up. When they worried or sadness came upon them he spoke words of encouragement and comfort.
Friends àhelp them by being an encourager, share a bit of God’s word. His truth is just what they need to hear. Shot out even a scripture!
C.    He accepted others. Jesus friends were not perfect.

·         Peter disowned him.
·         Judas was thief who eventually betrayed him.

My point is if we are going to be good friends, it is important to memorize this verse in Ephesians 4:2 àBe completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Because friendship requires patience.

(2)
2.      Yourself- meaning worldly identity

This world is full of junk. The junk I’m talking about is the movies, TV shows you watch, some are good but most are informing are youth today to have sex before marriage and you get my point. Relationships- If Gods not in it, it won’t last. The world: they have their rights and wrongs different from Gods point of view. Music is a big part of our society that many teens consume there self with. Drugs, drinking, what in the world are you thinking?!

(Tell Chloe funny story)-(my aunt told my family, Chloe my four yr old cousin lives here in garland TX,&  likes zac efron.. She has his cd called “hairspray” the musical, and my aunt has this magazine and his picture was in there, Chloe asked her mom if she can cut it out for her so she could put it under her pillow.)

- Trying to find happiness and pleasure in all these things is not your answer or solution.
The behavior and customs of this world are usually selfish and often corrupting.
-Many Christians wisely decided that much worldly behaviors are off limits for them. When are you going to make it your off- limit?
Let’s read Romans 12:2
-It is possibly to avoid worldly customsà but you’ll still be proud, arrogant, selfish, etc…ONLY when our mind is renewed by the new attitude of Christ gives us, we are truly transformed.
So if our character is like Christ, we can be sure our behavior will honor God.
Give your life to God… NOT to yourself. & don’t live for yourself, live for God.

àLastly: It’s possibly to live the both identities. Saying I’m a Christian then next you know if you caught yourself acting and living in the behaviors of the world. It’s possible in the world way. But defiantly impossible in Gods way. Either you make him your everything or you’re totally lost. Yes we come and fall short and sin but us believers we are his children and we are saved by grace through faith. We seek him and ask forgiveness, and then we are forgiven. (Trust me some of y’all here know what I’m talking about. I’ve been there done that, I have a testimony based on that)

Closing………….
Q: So what are we gunna do about it?
Are we going to sit back and watch it all happen, (meaning: our family & friends, not really knowing him, meaning having a sincere relationship with Jesus Christ? OR are we going to GO & TELL the world & impact it by sharing the good news and pouring Gods love.

It’s never too late to change the way you’ve been living. Make right with God and your identity will change and become more Christ-like. Dedicate your life to him, Completely to Him! It’s all or nothing. Once you encounter Gods love you don’t wanna go back to your old ways.
-Experience Gods love, it’s an amazing testimony, amazing change.
-Were not perfect we will still sin..but we have life. That’s the difference we have, True Life. Christ equals life.

*Encourage studentsseek him, want more & more of him, crave him, long for him, chase after him. Then you become a Contagious Christian. People will start wondering asking there’s something really different about you,… sooner or later they want what you have.
There’s your shot to witness and tell them Jesus is the solution of all. It’s him you need to consume yourself with. God loves you and takes you as you are. All you need to do is go to Him.

Actions will change.
